Frequently Asked Questions

Our dance season follows a schedule similar to that of schools. We typically begin in the second week of September and conclude in mid-June.

We usually host two events that showcase the children’s progress: an open house around Christmas when families are invited to observe classes, and a year-end show on stage. *Parent and Tot classes have a separate in-studio presentation, end of June*

Tuition is a set monthly fee. The current month's tuition is charged at the time of registration. The following month's tuition is billed in advance, and is charged to your account between the 26th and the end of each month. 

Our uniform specifications are listed on our website under CLASSES.

You may withdraw from our program at any time; however, to avoid being charged for the upcoming month, we require written notice of withdrawal:

• Before January 30:
  Written notice must be received at least 14 days before the end of the month to avoid charges for the following month.
   
• On or after January 30:
  Withdrawals from recital classes require 30 days’ written notice.
   

Tuition is charged during the applicable notice period in accordance with our billing schedule.

The policy is always available in your client portal under “Waivers”.

 Please note that simply not attending classes does not constitute a withdrawal.

If you have paid a recital costume deposit and your costume has already been ordered, you will still be responsible for the remaining balance of the costume fee, even if you choose to withdraw. Once paid in full, the costume is yours to keep.

 Payment of the costume deposit confirms your dancer’s commitment to participate in the annual recital. 

Per studio policy, a costume deposit is charged with February tuition, with the remaining balance due upon costume pickup. The costumes are yours to keep and the budget is usually no more than $100 plus HST. Unless otheriwise communicated by the studio. 

After January 30:

• Choreography and formations are finalized
   
• Costumes are ordered months in advance
   
• Late withdrawals impact spacing, formations, and recital planning
   

The extended notice period allows instructors adequate time to adjust choreography and class structure fairly.

SUMMER CAMPS OR ANY OTHER SPECIALTY CAMPS/PROGRAMS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
